The separate entrances that lead into the back room and the bonus room provided a sense of privacy to the work space. Good snow tires are a must and all wheel drive is helpful but rarely necessary because the road is taken care of well by the town crew. The basement is just a utility room, but the over sized garage has all the extra space needed for projects with a workbench and tool storage.
